General Program Vision and Goals
The Robertson Coach Institute (RCI) is a leading source for Human Resources, Talent and Organizational Development professionals and coaches to learn how to design and deliver internal coaching programs as well as become a coach that is fully capable of working inside organizations. RCI offers ICF approved coach certification programs, live and hosted training programs, webinars, and mentor coaching.
The Coaching Solution: Internal Coach Training Program is designed for those interested in learning how to coach inside an organization and who are committed to executing transformational organizational change while positively impacting business results. This program is designed to share Renee’s best practices and lessons learned with the hope to further coaching inside organizations and to guide those interested in building high-performance employees, teams and organizations.
The program provides participants with the learning and mentoring requirements to qualify for the ICF’s (International Coach Federation) ACC credential. Program participants will receive ICF ACSTH certification upon completion and will leave with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply for the ACC credential.
The program is divided into four integrated modules consisting of in-person facilitation, teleclasses, independent study, fieldwork and practical application.
- Part One: Cultivate an understanding of coaching and self awareness through discovery and exploration.
- Part Two: Accelerate growth through practical application and shared experiences.
- Part Three: Transform knowledge and insights into meaningful action.
- Part Four: Contribute to the future development and success of organizations
Total Program Hours:
- 60 hours of coach specific training. 70 hours with optional mentoring. The program is delivered via
- 30 hours – In-person Events
- 10 hours – Tele-sessions
- 10 hours – Independent Study
- 10 hours – Mentor coaching (optional)

Renee is one of only nineteen recipients of the International Coach Federation’s prestigious Prism Award, a recognition bestowed upon her twice for her groundbreaking work on designing and implementing an internal coaching program during the fall of Worldcom and resurgence of MCI Telecommunicaions, Inc., and her innovaitve comprehensive coaching program at Verizon.

Meet The Instructors
Renée Robertson, PCC – CEO
Renée Robertson is the founder and CEO of Trilogy Development, a learning and consulting firm with a proven track record in designing and implementing internal coaching programs; sales force performance initiatives and talent development solutions. A veteran Fortune 500 executive, she has served as a trusted adviser and coach to many top business leaders.
Robertson is a two-time winner of the International Coach Federation’s prestigious Prism Award, a recognition bestowed upon her for her innovative coaching programs at MCI and Verizon. At Verizon, the program engaged more than six hundred leaders from all functional areas over a four-year period. It reinforced key training and change initiatives and was a critical component to succession planning. It was combined with key leadership development programs for female and ethnically diverse executives, managers, and top employees.
In addition to her success in the coaching industry, Robertson has significant sales, human resources and talent management leadership experience. She has designed and implemented several HRIS systems, talent transformation initiatives and has executed several succession plans.
Robertson is also the author of The Coaching Solution: How to Drive Talent Development, Organizational Change and Business Results. As a former talent management executive, Robertson shares her best practices and lessons learned with the hope to further coaching inside organizations and to guide those interested in building high-performance employees, teams and organizations.

Robertson holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a BA from Drew University and has completed studies at the University of London, United Nations and the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is proficient in French and enjoys being active, doing yoga and spending time with her family.

Her expertise has enabled her to positively impact strategic company goals while partnering with key executives to demonstrate the value of her leadership and coaching services within their organizations.
Marian excelled as a sales and marketing representative in a highly competitive technology environment then went on to create and implement a corporate university and learning center for a large company, which became a model for success both domestically and internationally. As a successful Learning and Talent Development professional Marian has achieved many accolades and recognition for her ability to manage complex projects and cultivate change.
